What 3 Wins Is
3 Wins is a very simple app.
At the end of the day, or whenever you feel like it, you write down a few things you won at.
The app starts with three lines because that is the basic idea.
But three is not a rule.
You can write one.
You can write ten.
You can write twenty.
You can disappear for two weeks, come back, and write one more.
Nothing happens if you miss a day.
There is no streak to break.
A win can be anything.
It could be:
* Woke up. * Took a shower. * Had lunch. * Sent the email I was avoiding. * Spent time with my daughter. * Went for a walk. * Said no to something. * Gave myself time to rest. * Shipped a project. * Got through the fucking day.
The app does not decide which of those wins is more important.
It does not score them.
It does not ask you to classify them.
It does not tell you that getting out of bed is a smaller win than closing a major deal.
If it mattered to you that day, it counts.
There are no badges.
There are no points.
There are no completion percentages.
There is no message telling you that you forgot to log yesterday.
There are no followers, likes, comments, or public feeds.
It is private.
You open it, write a few short lines, and leave.
Those lines are kept in a simple timeline that you can look back through later.
That is the useful part.
When things are bad, your head can make the whole day look bad.
When you are moving very quickly, your head can make a huge amount of progress look like nothing.
3 Wins gives you somewhere to keep the parts you might otherwise forget.
It is not trying to turn you into a more productive person.
It is not trying to force you to be positive.
It is not trying to make gratitude into another task you can fail at.
It is just a record.
A private place to say:
This went right.
I handled this.
I made some progress here.
I got through today.
That is it.
